Now, you can use these power keywords that I’m going to show you in this video to research products, categories, sales and competitors on eBay and Amazon.

A lot of people get this confused about what a power keyword is and what a product is. Now, for example, a dishwasher is a power keyword. Dishlex Model XYZ Dishwasher is a product and not a power keyword. Another example, a cell phone is a power keyword, Apple iPhone X is a product. And again, Apple iPhone X is not a power keyword, it’s a product. Another one, a digital camera. Digital camera is a power keyword. Canon iX 90D Digital camera is not a power keyword, it’s a product. So, the question comes up, where do you get power keywords?

The best way to come up with your own unique list of power keywords is to simply look around your own surroundings. We’re all different and we all see different items. Now, our criteria for power keywords is any item that sells on eBay or Amazon for $50 to $2,000, and sells more than 15 times per month. Now, for instance, if you’re at home, you might have a pet, and they might have a pet blanket, or any other pet accessory. Or you might have one of those cheap weather stations, or binoculars, or headphones, or solar-powered nightlights, et cetera, et cetera.

You might see chairs, tables, calculators, portable stepladder, whiteboard, whiteboard textile set, the list goes on and on. Now, create a list on your mobile phone, now we call it creating a power keyword list on your phone. Now, every time you see a keyword, put it into your mobile phone.

You know, most mobile phones have got some kind of notepad like on an iPhone. Or, if you have an iPhone, you can even say, “Hey Siri, take a note”, and then say it, and of course, good luck with Siri, of course. Anyway, standing here, power words that I can see are fencing wire, electric fence, electric fencing wire, seed spreader, grass seed, sprinklers, weed puller, pump, greenhouse, automatic water bottle. Solar panel, lunch, and I forget that last one.

I think you get the idea. These are all power keywords and you can use them to research products and sellers on eBay and Amazon
