How to Automatically Check eBay & Amazon Supplier Inventory
Dive into our guide on how to automatically check eBay & amazon supplier inventory and take control of your e-commerce operations. There’s nothing worse than selling something on eBay, Amazon or Shopify and then discovering that your supplier has sold out of the item. This is a great way to attract defects and/or negative feedback.
In this week’s quick video, I’ll show you how to quickly set up supplier inventory checking so that if your supplier runs out of stock, your eBay, Amazon, or Shopify listings automatically show zero available so you don’t oversell.
If anybody is new to this channel,my name’s Neil Waterhouse and I’ve been selling online full-time for over 25 years. I’m the offer of a million-dollar eBay business from home, creating a drop-ship formula, and I’m just about to release my next book drop shipping zero to seven digits in six months.
So let’s get straight into it. For this video, I’ll use iHerb as a supplier and scarcity manager for the supply inventory checking. However, it’s exactly the same steps for most other suppliers. A scarcity manager works with thousands of eBay, Amazon, and Shopify suppliers all over the world.
This is the eBay listing that I’ll set up supply inventory checking, and this is the same item at the supplier iHerb. So to set up automatic inventory checking, go to scarcity manager and log in. If you don’t already have an account with Scarcity Manager, you can get a 14 day free trial. After you’ve logged into Scarcity Manager, click on eBay dashboard, then eBay items.
Then search for the item that you wish to set up automatic inventory. Checking this demonstration. It’s these Mono Lauren supplements. Next, click on Enable supplier inventory checking, then Supplier, then enter the supplier’s URL. Now to get the supplier’s URL, simply go to the top of the browser.
When you’re looking at the item on your supplier’s website, simply copy and paste the URL to scarce your manager. Next, enter a SKU number and for iHerb, the SKU number can be anything. So for this demonstration,I’ll just put Mon Lauren. And the last step is to click the save button.
Now, scarcity Manager will automatically check this item 24 7 365, and if iHerb runs out of stock, SM will automatically make the Avail Listing Show zero available. And just as importantly, SM will also automatically add more stock to you by listing as soon as iHerb has more stock.
And Scarcity Manager also does exactly the same thing for eBay, Amazon, andvery shortly Shopify, which is in beta test right now. and quickly find items thathave sold over a thousand times on eBay, make sure youwatch this video up here and I’ll put a link below.
